Quit Smoking - What Are Young Smokers Thinking?

I am just not a mind audience therefore i is often curious about what individuals are thinking when they are smoking. I'm even more curious once i see young people with a cigarette.

I can understand someone in their 50s who grew up in an era when smoking was cool and widely advertised in all kinds of media.

But when I actually see someone in their teens or twenties We are really curious. Therefore I'm going to speculate, some teenagers are unwell of being taught what to do by a myriad of authorities and smoking is one way to disobey or stand out in the crowd.

Maybe in limited circles it's still a way to fit in with peers. Young adults with their bullet substantiation mentality usually feel that smoking won't affect them and that they will leave easily when they are ready. Ignoring all the health advice and experience of older smokers appears to be a part of the, don't show me what to mentality.

Some young women in their twenties still believe smoking could keep them thin. Sure smoking throughout the day rather than eating may bring about some kind of weight reduction, but bear in head that smoking disrupts the liver's ability to work properly and therefore process excess fat.

So some short term weight reduction will lead to putting on weight over time. Plus nicotine raises bloodstream sugar which results in more insulin being produced which intern pulls sugars from your blood and into your fat cellular material, where the sugar is converted to fat!

I have seen many clients as young as 25 who realised in the beginning that giving up wasn't going to be easy for them. My own message to any son or girl who scans this, who smokes or is contemplating it that the best thing that can be done is to think for yourself.

You don't have to care about the opinions of the regulators in your daily life, think about yourself, be selfish about your health, operate for yourself and say to hell with anyone who thinks any less of you because of not smoking.

Help to make non-smoking a kind of rebellion against the multi-national companies that sucked you to their snare and want to keep you locked in until you are sick and desperate. Then many of these same companies promote you cigarette smoking patches.

By smoking you are not a rebel, you are a pawn of the corporate man, yet another sucker giving over your money and your life.
